On Tuesday, Tucker spoke to the media about the Spartans’ upcoming games against the Wolverines and the MSU head coach refused to say “Michigan.”
Instead, Tucker referred to Michigan as “the school up the road.”
Tucker hasn’t said the name Michigan once. Refers to the Wolverines as “the school up the road.”

@chrissolari asks Mel Tucker about his referencing of "the school down the road" when talking about Michigan throughout the press conference." Tucker notes that he believes it's "pretty obvious" who he is talking about. haha

Tucker spent time as a coach at Ohio State from 2001-2004 and he is just using what he learned with the Buckeyes.
Nation, do you think the Spartans can hang with the Wolverines on Saturday?
