While the Michigan State football team was on the road taking on the Indiana Hoosiers, the Spartans basketball team received some great news.
4-star combo guard Rocket Watts announced on Instagram that he will be playing basketball for Michigan State University.

Earlier this year, Watts transferred from Old Redford High School in Michigan to Spire Academy in Cleveland. He is currently ranked as the No. 32 player in the nation by 247 Sports. The Spartans beat out Florida State and Louisville, among other for the prized prospect.

On Sunday Night Football, the Detroit Lions will host the New England Patriots at Ford Field. The Lions have never beaten the Patriots at Ford Field and it has been nearly 18 years since they beat them at all.
For ‘Throwback Thursday,’ the Detroit Lions tweeted out a highlight video from the game against the Patriots that took place on November 23, 2000 at the Pontiac Silverdome. During that game, the Lions outscored the Patriots 28-3 in the second half on their way to a 34-9 win.
