The Michigan State Spartans are losing safety Michael Dowell to the NCAA transfer portal, according to Rainer Sabin of the Detroit Free Press:

In 20 games with the Spartans, Dowell has registered 42 career tackles, including 0.5 sack, 0.5 tackle for loss, two pass break-ups and one fumble recovery.
