The Michigan State Spartans have announced a few key additions to their basketball staff on Monday.
Doug Wojcik has been moved to assistant coach, while former MSU All-Big Ten guard Mark Montgomery returns to East Lansing to assume the role of recruiting coordinator. Austin Thornton returns as video coordinator, while Matt McQuaid takes over as assistant director of basketball operations.
Meanwhile, Julian Stall will take over as director of creative video.
As you may remember, McQuad helped the Spartans to back to back Big Ten Titles in 2018 and 2019, and captained the 2019 Final Four squad.
“I’m very excited to make the announcement for our staff for next season,” Izzo said. “This is the first time we’ve had some change in our staff in a while, but I think we have some great experience and it means even more when former players want to return to campus to be a part of building our future.
