It was another exciting season for fans of both the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans. Unfortunately, when all was said and done, neither team was able to win it all as both teams were rolled by Texas Tech as Michigan lost in the Sweet 16 and Michigan State was ousted in the Final Four.
That being said, it is never too early to start looking towards next season and that is exactly what the Sporting News has accomplished with their ‘Way Too Early Top 25 for 2019-2020' rankings.
According to the Sporting News, Michigan State is ranked No. 2 while Michigan comes in at No. 4.

Key decisions: None.
NOTE: It is interesting that Ignas Brazdeikis as either a key player or a key decision for the Wolverines. Maybe the forgot about him??
