Spartans fans, why wait for the season to get underway before placing your bets? If you can’t wait another minute for college football season to be here, you don’t have to. You can bet futures and key matchups right now! Here is a look at how MSU is expected to fare this season along with the available sports bets.
Michigan State Spartans 2021 Outlook
Over in East Lansing, Mel Tucker’s Spartans will have elevated expectations in 2021 with a full offseason of preparation and a full schedule ahead of them. They should have some big-play ability at WR with the return of playmakers Jayden Reed and Jalen Nailor. The offensive line will be another unit to watch. They aren’t a flashy or dynamic group with big-name talent, but they do have improved depth and got better each week last season. They’ll look to build on that success moving forward.
On the defensive side of the ball, the D-line is another group that has depth but lacks major headline talent. A key for them will be getting consistent penetration and pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Without that, they are likely in for a long year, as most of their linebacking core will comprise new starters, as is the secondary. We all know how important it is to control the line of scrimmage, but if the Spartans can do so, it could be the difference between keeping games close and getting blown out.
