The Spartans' and Eagles' postseason bout against one another in 2007 was the most recent meeting of six head-to-head match-ups, a series that dates back to 1935. It was also the first season for Michigan State under current head coach Mark Dantonio, who is now entering his 11th season. The Spartans finished 7-6 overall that season.
The future home-and-home series will begin in Chestnut Hill, MA in 2024 before shifting the scene to East Lansing in 2025. It will be the first time MSU has hosted the Eagles in football since 1995.
With this new home-and-home series officially announced, Michigan State now has at least one future non-conference game scheduled through the 2025 season. You can click here to see the various future match-ups.
