Legendary Michigan State Spartans head coach Tom Izzo recently tested positive for COVID-19, and went into isolation.
However, he was able to remain in contact with his players during his quarantine period.
And thankfully, the latest update regarding his health is what we had hoped to hear. He plans on being back on the sidelines for Michigan State’s opening tilt against Eastern Michigan on Wednesday.
The Spartans and Izzo released the following statement:
We’re happy that Izzo has recovered and we’re looking forward to seeing him back at it!
