According to a report from Pete Thamel, Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker is targeting Georgia Southern RB coach Effrem Reed for the Spartans open RB job.
Thamel notes that there are still details to be worked out, but he’s expected to return to Michigan State.
Reed is a former Michigan State analyst who was hired by Georgia Southern earlier in December.
