The facelift of the coaching staff of Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh continues, with several new faces heading to Ann Arbor while also bidding goodbye to more than a few mainstays.
The latest name that will be departing the Michigan sidelines is defensive backs coach Mike Zordich, who won’t be retained by the Wolverines. His time in Ann Arbor dates back to when Harbaugh originally returned to his alma mater.
Sources: Mike Zordich is not expected to be retained after meeting with new DC Mike Macdonald. His most recent contract expired Jan. 10. Zordich was one of two assistants on Jim Harbaugh's original staff at Michigan. The other is Harbaugh's son, Jay.

Zordich also acknowledged the news by referring to himself as a “free-agent” DB’s coach on his Twitter account:
Zordich’s past coaching experience includes stops with the Philadelphia Eagles and Youngstown State.
