Both the Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans improved in the latest edition of the Ap Top-25 poll.

Michigan improved to No. 11, while Michigan State moved up a spot to claim No. 14. The Spartans last played on Saturday, having their way with Eastern Michigan by a 101-48 final. Michigan had a similar dominating performance against Presbyterian, winning 86-44.
The rivals will meet for the first time this season on January 5 at Breslin Center, and then again on February 8 at Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor.
