When October 15th rolls around, Michigan vs Penn State is going to be a battle that could go a long way in determining who will challenge Ohio State for the top team in the Big Ten East.
The Michigan Wolverines are coming off a Big Ten Championship season and their first appearance in the College Football Playoff, and so far, things are going very well in Ann Arbor.
After destroying their first three opponents, the Wolverines have since beaten Maryland and Iowa to move to 2-0 in Big Ten Play.
What is the Michigan vs Penn State game time?
We already know that Michigan vs Penn State, which will be a “Maize Out” game in Ann Arbor, will take place on October 15th, and on Monday, we found out what time the game will kick off.
It was announced on Monday that the October 15th matchup between the Wolverines and Nittany Lions will begin at noon. It will be the fourth consecutive week that Michigan will begin at noon EST.
It should be a battle between two Top 10 teams
As you probably know, Michigan is currently 5-0 and ranked No. 4, while Penn State, who will have a bye week before their matchup against the Wolverines, is ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press Poll as they too are off to a 5-0 start to their 2022 season.
Assuming that Michigan takes care of business this coming Saturday against Indiana, the matchup between them and Penn State on Oct. 15 will be a matchup between two Top 10 teams.
