Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh previews first contest vs. Minnesota

It’s officially game week for the Michigan Wolverines, as they’re preparing for their first official game of the 2020 season on the road against their Big Ten rival Minnesota Golden Gophers.

During his guest appearance on WXYZ’s Brad Galli’s ‘Inside the Huddle’, head coach Jim Harbaugh

“It’s exciting, he said. “Just excited for the players. They’ve been through a lot…things they haven’t been able to do. The football players will be able to have a game, so I”m excited to watch them have at it.

The biggest thing for me is being able to watch them compete.”

“Great question. It’s hard to predict in college football, but I like our team. I like the talent, the competitiveness, the oneness. Nothing more important than oneness. It’s time for the team to play – if we play good, we’ll be darn tough to beat.”

“He’s a guy who attacked every day. He wants to be better tomorrow than he was yesterday. every day he comes onto the field with a purpose, and it’s time to let it rip.”

“Minnesota is good, they’re a very good team in all facets. They’ve got some good players, they’re well coached. We gotta play us, do us. We have to play good. We’re not going to be afraid to do it.”

This is going to be the first time that our team has traveled in a college football game this weekend will be the first. There will be challenges….let’s stick together and stay positive and test negative.”
