Michigan's comeback effort fell short, and a last second attempt by Zavier Simpson was successful. The Wolverines had been able to force overtime after coming back from a 16-point deficit in the second half, and now fall to 8-3 on the season with their second straight loss.
Franz Wagner led Michigan with 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting and 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. David DeJulius scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half off of the bench, while Isiah Livers scored 13, all in the second half. Oregon was led by Payton Pritchard, who scored 23 points; Anthony Mathis scored 19 including six three-point shots.
Michigan shot 41% overall and finished 9-of-21 from beyond the arc. Oregon was at 51%, including 8-of-16 from beyond the arc.
