It’s officially a low point for the Michigan Wolverines under head coach Jim Harbaugh. Following last week’s dramatic overtime victory over Rutgers, the hope was that the team would take momentum back to their home turf and piece together a second straight win over the winless Penn State Nittany Lions.
Unfortunately, Penn State didn’t cooperate.

The Nittany Lions marched into the Big House, scored on their opening drive, and earned their first victory of the season by a 27-17 final score. The Wolverines are now 2-4 on the year.
Quarterback Cade McNamara, who briefly left the game with an injury, completed just 12 of his 25 passes for 91 yards on the afternoon. Meanwhile, Penn State’s Sean Clifford went 17 of 28 passes for 163 yards, while the offense put up a total of 417 yards.
The Wolverines were only able to put up 286 yards.
