Michigan Wolverines vs Alabama Crimson Tide opening point spread seems very kind

It is safe to say many Michigan football fans were not all that thrilled when their Citrus Bowl opponent was revealed to be the Alabama Crimson Tide. After all, Alabama has been the benchmark team in college football for so long. Not only are the Tide usually the most talented team in the country, but they are also coached by Nick Saban, a man who has won six National Championships. On the surface, there is not much that inspires confidence for the Wolverines to even keep the game competitive, let alone come away with a victory. Or so one would think.

The good people who are the Las Vegas oddsmakers are actually predicting a pretty close contest between the two teams. The spread could of course always change, but the opening line via Circa Sports sees Alabama as only a 6.5 point favorite over the Wolverines.

What do you think, Nation? Are you going to take advantage of the low spread before Vegas realizes what a horrible mistake they've made? Or are you confident that the Wolverines are going to match blows with the Crimson Tide?
