BREAKING: Michigan injury updates on Rashan Gary and Tarik Black

At high noon on Saturday, Michigan and Michigan State will clash in East Lansing with everything on the line for both teams.

According to a report by Isaiah Hole, the Wolverines have arrived in East Lansing and there is some good news and some bad news for Michigan fans. Hole says that wide receiver Tarik Black, traveled with the team and could see some action while defensive end Rashan Gary is not with the team and after not making the travel roster.

From Wolverines Wire:

Michigan second-year wide receiver Tarik Black hasn’t been available since Week Three of 2017, but it looks like that may change on Saturday, with Black having made Michigan’s travel roster.

Black, of course, broke a bone in his foot for the second consecutive year, having now had corrective surgery on both feet. His latest unjustly came just one week before Michigan’s season opener at Notre Dame, as fall camp culminated.

But that’s where the good news ends.

Third-year defensive end Rashan Gary, who’s been held out since he sustained an injury at Northwestern did not make the short trip.

While traveling doesn’t necessitate playing time, it’s more likely than not that Black will see some time on the field, given the travel roster’s limited capacity.

Nation, how do you think this news will play a role in today’s game between the Wolverines and Spartans?

The Wolverines are coming off an absolute shellacking of the formerly No. 15 Wisconsin Badgers, while the Spartans did what most thought of as the unthinkable by going to Happy Valley and taking down the formerly No. 8 Penn State Nittany Lions.

While the Spartans may have taken down Goliath last weekend in Pennsylvania, they will absolutely NOT be able to do so two weeks in a row! Call it a hunch, premonition, or whatever you’d like. But mark my words: there is no chance Michigan State wins this game. Just to back it up, I’ve got three reasons why:
