Next Saturday, the Michigan Wolverines will play in the Big Ten Championship Game for the first time when they take on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
On Sunday, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh spoke about the matchup with Iowa, saying they are a ‘great opponent.’
Here are some of the things Harbaugh had to say about the matchup, noting the Hawkeyes are “conscientious they are in all three phases” of the game and that they spend time working on special teams just as Michigan does.

Harbaugh said "pretty much nobody I respect more" on Kirk Ferentz. Notes that he played in Baltimore for Ferentz's last year coaching there before Iowa. Also notes that Bob Bowlsby (who hired Ferentz at Iowa and Harbaugh at Stanford) shared a lot of stories about Ferentz as well.
