Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh takes shot at former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer

When it comes to athletics, just about every coach claims to have the “utmost respect” for their fellow coaches.

That being said, their are clearly instances where, in reality, those words probably do not mean much..

One example of this is the relationship between Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer.

Harbaugh recently joined The Athletic’s Tim Kawakami on his podcast and used it as an opportunity to take a shot at Meyer.

“Urban Meyer’s had a winning record. Really phenomenal record everywhere he’s been. But also, controversy follows everywhere he’s been.” Harbaugh said.

It is no mystery that controversy has followed Meyer around throughout his career but it’s always fun when a fellow head coach calls him out for it!

Harbaugh was never able to beat up on Meyer on the field, maybe he feels like he can take him down off of it.
