Michigan’s Ryan Glasgow would love to reunite with his brother Graham on Detroit Lions

In the third Round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn selected OL Graham Glasgow out of the University of Michigan. Now, there is a chance Glasgow is reunited with his brother one more time if everything falls into place.

Ryan Glasgow, who plays on the defensive line, told Justin Rogers of the Detroit News that he would love to be selected by the Lions and play on the same team as his brother.

From Detroit News:

“It would be really awesome,” Glasgow said. “I’d really like it. Obviously I’m open to anything, whoever wants me. It would be cool. My mom is convinced I’m going there, but I’m not so sure.”

You certainly can’t rule it out, The Lions are definitely in need of defensive tackle depth with Tyrunn Walker, Stefan Charles and Khyri Thorton all set to be free agents. Glasgow had a meeting with the Lions scheduled for Tuesday evening.

The young interior lineman came to the Senior Bowl widely viewed as a middle-round prospect. A key cog on Michigan’s dominant defense, he made major strides as a senior, racking up 39 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

He’s confident he can play in any scheme and is using this week to show three things to the numerous NFL talent evaluators in attendance.

“I want to prove that I’m explosive, that I’m an athlete and that I can rush the passer efficiently,” Glasgow said.

What do you think, Nation? Would you like to see the Detroit Lions add a second Glasgow brother to the mix?
