On Monday afternoon, the Detroit Tigers will host the Houston Astros in their first meeting of the 2020 Grapefruit League schedule.
Spring Training matchups rarely have much intrigue to them but with the Astros smack dab in the middle of a sign-stealing scandal, you can bet there will be plenty of questions asked of both the Tigers and the Astros.

On Monday morning, Tigers DH/1B Miguel Cabrera was asked if his relationship with Astros 2B Jose Altuve has changed in light of the sign-stealing scandal.
According to Miggy, nothing has changed. In fact, Cabrera believes Altuve is innocent.
“I believe he didn’t do it because he say that to my face. He looked me in the eye and said he didn’t do it,” Cabrera told reporters. “It’s over with. It’s not good for baseball. So why we gonna keep talking about something that’s not good for baseball? It’s over. The commissioner made a statement and that’s it. We can’t do anything more about.”

More from Miggy on the Astros: "It's over with. It's not good for baseball. So why we gonna keep talking about something that's not good for baseball? It's over. The commissioner made a statement and that's it. We can't do anything more about it."

Whether or not Miggy truly believes Altuve is innocent may never be known, but his comments are certainly interesting.
