The Detroit Lionsโ offensive coordinator search continues to be one of the hottest storylines of the offseason, and on Tuesday, it took an interesting turn thanks to a photo making the rounds on social media.

According to multiple reports, former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was scheduled to meet with the Lions regarding their vacant offensive coordinator position. However, when Detroit did not publicly confirm that the meeting took place, something the organization typically keeps quiet about anyway, a few skeptics began to wonder if the meeting ever happened.
Those doubts were quickly put to rest.
A photo surfaced on X, posted by user @thehaileemurphy, showing McDaniel at a Detroit-area airport boarding a flight from Detroit to Nashville. While the Lions never officially announced the interview, the image strongly suggests McDaniel was indeed in town, presumably for discussions with the organization before heading out for his next stop.

In other words, if Lions fans were worried the McDaniel meeting was just smoke with no fire, the viral airport sighting provided the clearest confirmation yet that the visit was very real.
