Well, this can be filed in the “things I never thought I would write” category.
As you have probably heard, former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will be fighting Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match on November 28.
But according to former NHL tough guy Georges Laraque, Tyson may end up having another fight after Jones Jr.
From Barstool Sports:
Apparently Georges Laraque went on a French language sports radio station in Montreal and said that he has a 75% chance of getting in a ring with Mike Tyson.
If you are hockey fan or even if you are just a fan of hockey fights, like myself, you have certainly heard of Laraque as he is one of the best fighters in NHL history.
Here are some of Laraque’s best fights and knockouts.
Now, as good as Laraque was at fighting other hockey players while on hockey skates, he would not have even a remote chance of hanging with Tyson.
Tyson was once one of the great fighters in boxing history and if you have seen some of his recent training videos, you agree with me that it would be wise for Laraque to steer clear of this one!
