Well, if the Detroit Lions are going to go from worst to first and win the NFC North, things just got a bit tougher as the Minnesota Vikings have reportedly traded the Jacksonville Jaguars for DE Yannick Ngakoue.
Jaguars agreed to trade franchise DE Yannick Ngakoue to Minnesota for a second- and conditional fifth-round pick that could go as high a third-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Ngakoue still has to sign his tender, but trade is in place and Ngakoue is expected to be a Viking.

Tom Pelissero is reporting that the Vikings will send a 2nd-round pick in 2021 and a conditional 5th-round pick in 2022 to the Jaguars in exchange for Ngakoue. The conditional pick would become a 4th-round pick if Ngakoue is a first-ballot Pro Bowl pick in 2020 and it would go up to a 3rd-round pick if he is a first-ballot Pro Bowl selection AND the Vikings win the Super Bowl.
The 5th-round pick in 2022 can become a 4th (if Ngakoue is a first-ballot Pro Bowl pick) or a 3rd (first-ballot Pro Bowl pick and #Vikings win the Super Bowl).

Let’s all say a prayer that the Lions offensive line is able to protect Matthew Stafford during their two meetings against the Vikings in 2020!
