It was not a very good day for Major League Baseball umpire, Kerwin Danley.

As you are about to see, Danley was knocked out after being drilled in the head by a foul ball off the bat of Sam Hilliard of the Colorado Rockies.

Danley immediately fell backward after being hit and he laid motionless on the field for several seconds before moving.

Danley was able to leave the field under his own power and following the game, the Giants reported that he was doing fine, other than a headache.
