Whether you love him or hate him, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is definitely a lightning rod around these parts (and even further) when it comes to his play on the field. There are plenty of fans who think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread while others want him out of town as soon as possible.

That being said, there is no question about it that Stafford is a blessing when it comes to the work he does in the community. Because of that, he was nominated for the 2018 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
The Detroit Lions have been running an “Under the Helmet” series throughout the season and on Thursday, they released an episode featuring Matthew Stafford.
