MUST SEE: Detroit Tigers’ Christin Stewart smashes first two MLB home runs

For those of you who have been following the Detroit Tigers’ farm system over the past couple of seasons, you have certainly heard of outfielder Christin Stewart and his outstanding power.

Stewart made his Major League debut with the Tigers on September 9th and through his first 10 games, he was hitting just .229 with no home runs and just one extra-base hit during that time.

Well, so much for the power outage as Stewart hit his first two Major League home runs on Thursday night against the Kansas City Royals.

Here is the first with the Tigers trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the first inning.

One inning later, with the Tigers trailing 5-4, Stewart absolutely unloaded for the second home run of his career.

Two things are for sure. 1) Christin Stewart has amazing power and 2) The Tigers are going to give him every opportunity to prove he belongs in Major League Baseball.

Congrats Christin!!!

Detroit Lions may catch HUGE break on Sunday Night Football

When the Detroit Lions host the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football, they will need all of the help they can get to take down Tom Brady and company. After all, the Lions are off to a 0-2 start and they have not looked remotely good in any phase of the game. That, coupled with the fact that the Patriots are coming off a loss and will be looking to get back on track, means the Lions will have to bring their “A” game and still may need to catch a couple of breaks.

One of those breaks may come in the form of Patriots’ All-Pro tight end, Rob Gronkowski watching from the sidelines.
