Detroit Red Wings legend Ted Lindsay passed away earlier this week at the age of 93. He won four Stanley Cup championships playing alongside fellow legends Gordie Howe and Sid Abel and also helped to form the NHLPA in the 1950's. Additionally, he started the tradition of raising the Stanley Cup over his head and skating it around the ice.
All throughout the NHL, teams have paid tribute to Lindsay – take a look at a few of them.
The impact that Ted Lindsay made on the hockey world will last forever, and players past, present and future will be forever indebted to his contributions to the game.
