MUST SEE: Usain Bolt just ran 40-yard dash and made every NFL player in history look slow

If you have ever wondered just how long it would take Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt to run the 40-yard dash, you don’t have to wonder any longer.

On Saturday, Bolt, who is 32, ran the 40-yard dash at the Super Bowl and he did so faster than any NFL player in history not named John Brown look slow.

Take a look below as Bolt, who is wearing sweats and sneakers runs the 40-yard dash in 4.22 seconds, the same time Brown ran it at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.

Just imagine how quickly Bolt would have run when he was about 21 years old and dressed appropriately!

Drysdale: Full Detroit Lions 2019 ‘Perfect’ NFL Mock Draft Vol. 1

Polar Vortex 2019!

What better time than to write up my first full Detroit Lions 2019 NFL Mock Draft?

Let me begin by saying these mock drafts are extremely fluid as free agency will play a huge role in what direction Lions’ GM Bob Quinn decides to go in the NFL Draft.

For example, I personally believe that acquiring an edge rusher should be the number one priority this offseason and I would have to believe that Quinn agrees with that. But if he goes out and signs a big name DE such as Trey Flowers out of New England (yes, please!), the chances of the Lions drafting an edge rusher with their No. 8 pick in the first round would drop, though it is still possible.

This volume of my full Detroit Lions mock draft focusses on what the current needs are at this moment in time as if not a single free agent is signed.

So, with that understood, let’s take a look at Vol. 1 of my full Detroit Lions 2019 ‘Perfect’ NFL Mock Draft.

Earlier this week, Kelly Stafford‘s brother posted a photo on Instagram which showed Kelly in the hospital preparing for brain surgery.

Since that post, there have not been any updates on Kelly and all we can do is keep her in our thoughts and prayers that all went well and she has a speedy and successful recovery.

On Saturday night, former Detroit Lions‘ cornerback Nevin Lawson took to Twitter to send his prayers out for Kelly the Stafford family.

Please continue to pray for Kelly Stafford and her family as they go through this difficult time.

Detroit Lions ‘All-Local’ 2019 NFL Mock Draft

Published

on

This coming Thursday, the 2019 NFL Draft will officially begin.

Over the past few months, if you are anything like me, you have read literally hundreds upon hundreds of Detroit Lions’ mock drafts.

So, I figured it would be fun to think outside the box (but inside the state) to come up with what an ‘All-local’ Lions draft could look like.

Check it out.

Round 1 – Devin Bush Jr. (LB) Michigan or Rashan Gary (DL) Michigan

Round 2 – Justin Layne (CB) Michigan State or David Long (CB) Michigan

Round 3 – Sean Bunting (CB) Central Michigan or Chase Winovich (DL) Michigan

Round 4 – Maxx Crosby (Edge) Eastern Michigan

Round 5 – Khari Willis (S) Michigan State

Round 6 – Xavier Crawford (CB) Central Michigan

Round 6 – Karan Higdon (RB) Michigan

Round 7 – Zach Gentry (TE) Michigan

Round 7 – LJ Scott (RB) Michigan State

Now, I know there is a .0000001% chance of this actually happening, but those players should be available when the Lions are on the clock in each round.
