MUST SEE: Young fan makes most important play of the season for Detroit Tigers

On Saturday night, the Detroit Tigers managed to blow a 5-1 lead as they eventually fell 7-5 to the Toronto Blue Jays.

There is no question about it, it has been an EXTREMELY disappointing season for the Tigers as they currently hold the worst record in Major League Baseball.

Despite their overall play, the Tigers have had some highlights along the way but none was bigger than the one that took place on Saturday.

Following the final out of an inning, Tigers outfielder Niko Goodrum turned and tossed a ball to a young fan. Rather than keeping the ball for himself and having a great story to tell his kids someday, the youngster made the story even better by giving the ball to a younger fan.

Watch as the event concludes with the two young fans hugging it out.

It has been a rough season but THIS is what baseball is all about! Well played, young man!
