Well, now Washington Nationals GM Mike Rizzo has weighed in on Philadelphia Phillies manager Joe Girardi following him requesting for Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer to be checked for a foreign substance on three occasions on Tuesday night.
“It’s embarrassing for Girardi,” Rizzo said. It’s embarrassing for the Phillies. Was he playing games? Of course he was.”
“He’s a con artist,” Rizzo added.

When you have had enough, you have had enough!
That is exactly what happened on Tuesday night when Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer was furious after Philadelphia Phillies manager Joe Girardi asked the umpire to check Scherzer or foreign substances for the third time in the same game.
Watch as Scherzer throws his hat and glove so the umpire could check them but he also undoes his belt this time.
This is incredible.

After being “cleared of all charges,” Scherzer stared down Girardi, who eventually came out of the dugout and was ejected from the game.
Don’t mess with Max!
Joe Girardi apparently has a death wish. I would strongly advise against this. https://t.co/DBGGEOpr7N
