NCAA Tournament Preview – East Region

[tps_header]The East Region is arguably the toughest region in the entire tournament. With North Carolina Tar Heels, Xavier Musketeers, West Virginia Mountaineers and Kentucky Wildcats sitting as the top four seeds in the region, the East has four legitimate title contenders at the very least. If you want to go out on a limb, the Indiana Hoosiers could even be thrown into that group too.

Along with some of the best teams, the East Region is also home to some of the best players in the tournament. From Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson on UNC, to Tyler Ulis and Jamal Murray on Kentucky, to Yogi Ferrell on Indiana, the East Region has a handful of players that could take over and lead their team all the way.

Yet, the East Region isn’t necessarily top heavy either. As lower seeds such as Providence and Wisconsin have the firepower to play spoiler to any one of the top teams.

Bottom line, the East Region is going to be as fun as any to watch. You’re not going to want to miss a second of the action.[/tps_header]
