Ndamukong Suh says he talked to Jared Goff about going to Detroit Lions

Unless something crazy happens, Jared Goff will be the Detroit Lions starting quarterback when the 2021 season kicks off as he was part of a trade that sent Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams.

Following the trade, one of Goff's former teammates called him and talked to him about going to Detroit.

That former teammate was none other than Ndamukong Suh, who started his NFL career in the Motor City.

From Pro Football Talk:

“I actually spoke to Jared Goff the other day when [the trade] actually happened, just to let him know that he’s going to a great city in Detroit and I’m excited for him, and let me know if he needs anything,” Suh said Monday. “I know a lot of people up there, a lot of great people in the community that will be happy to help him get his feet settled and what not.”

Suh played for the Lions for five seasons before eventually leaving for the Miami Dolphins.
