Even if you don’t pay attention to the National Football League, you have likely heard about the growing hatred between the New England Patriots and NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell (though other than Patriots fans, neither side likes to admit it).
After suspending Tom Brady and taking away a first-round draft pick from New England, Goodell is most definitely one of the most disliked people if you were to ask Patriots Nation.
Goodell has avoided going to Patriots games since the 2014 playoffs and his streak continued on Sunday when he chose to watch the Atlanta Falcons for the second consecutive week, this time in the NFC Championship Game in Atlanta.
If the commissioner were to ever show his face again at Gillette Stadium, you can be sure that Patriots fans would really let him have it. But, since they knew he would not be in attendance, they did the next best thing by trolling him with signs.
In a strange way, Patriots fans vs Roger Goodell is very healthy for the league — for conversation, for interest. Some signs tonight pic.twitter.com/0FlKZEum3l

If the Patriots are able to hold on for the victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game, they will be headed to the Super Bowl to take on the Atlanta Falcons. You can bet that Tom Brady and company will do everything they can to accept the Lombardi Trophy from Goodell in front of the entire world.
*Note: At the time of publish New England led Pittsburgh 27-9 with 2:36 remaining in the 3rd quarter.
