Both the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints survived a scare early this morning, as Saints fullback (and former Lion) Michael Burton originally tested positive for COVID-19, which later turned out to be a false positive.

Therefore, the scheduled game for this afternoon will in fact take place after fears that it would have to be postponed, similar to that of the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers.
After a frantic round of re-testing, both Burton and everyone who was in close proximity to him turned back negative tests for the virus. However, the ordeal naturally wreaked havoc on their normal routine.
They originally received the news shortly before 11 pm EST; time that would have been spent resting and preparing for this afternoon's matchup was lost. Can the Lions take advantage of the fatigued Saints?
According to additional reports, there have been no additional positive COVID-19 tests as of Sunday morning.
Of course, the entire ordeal is familiar to Lions fans, as quarterback Matthew Stafford endured a false positive back in August.
