New York Yankees set Major League Baseball record in win over Blue Jays

If you happen to be a fan of the New York Yankees, you have witnessed history over the past three games.

In fact, by hitting 6 home runs on Thursday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Yankees became the first team in Major League Baseball history to hit 6+ home runs in three-straight games.

Heading into the night, the Yankees (88) trailed only the Los Angeles Dodgers (94) in team home runs for the season. At the time of publishing, the Dodgers had already hit one home run in their game against the Colorado Rockies, to give them 95 on the season compared to 94 for the Yankees.
