The Detroit Lions had a special guest in attendance during today's open practice.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was on hand, speaking with Lions owner Sheila Ford Hamp on the sidelines at Ford Field:

We can only speculate as to the content of their conversations, but hopefully the commissioner was giving encouragement to Ford Hamp to not run the team as her father did for so many years!
