According to reports, the NFL has fined the Detroit Lions organization $75,000, head coach Matt Patricia $25,000, and GM Bob Quinn $10,000 for violating the NFL Injury Report Policy by failing to properly update the game status of QB Matthew Stafford prior to the Nov. 10 game against the Chicago Bears.
As noted by Dave Birkett, the Lions listed Stafford as questionable despite knowing he had a fractured back after that Friday’s practice.
The Lions listed Stafford as questionable before that game but basically determined he wasn’t going to play after testing showed the fractures in his back after their Friday practice
