The Detroit Lions Monday Night Football matchup against the Green Bay Packers turned out to be an absolute embarrassment for the NFL.
On multiple occasions, the officiating crew screwed the Lions on multiple occasions, causing just about everybody (outside of Green Bay) to defend the Lions.

One person who voiced his opinion is Clay Matthews.
Matthews currently plays for the Los Angeles Rams but he was once a bitter rival of the Lions as he played with the Packers from 2009-2018.
Following the game, Matthews hopped on Twitter and defended the Lions by calling out the NFL officials for their “inability to make the accurate and correct calls week in and week out.”
The storyline for the 2019 season continues to be the refs inability to make the accurate and correct calls week in and week out. Al Riveron continues to blindly side with his refs and the current status quo. Something must change! Zero accountability. …#throughthewire

Well, according to ESPN, Matthews was fined $12,500 for his tweet.

What a joke the NFL is.
