According to reports, the NFL has ruled on Golden Tate’s four-game suspension appeal and the suspension has been upheld.

Tate will sit out for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, though he is eligible to practice throughout the preseason and play in those remaining games. He can return to the active roster on Monday, Sept. 30, after the Giants’ Week 4 matchup with the Redskins.
