UPDATE: Chicago at Detroit will be broadcast locally on NBC (channel 4 in the Detroit area) in addition to nationwide on NFL Network. The coverage maps and parts of this article will be updated to reflect that as game time draws nearer.

If you are like us, sometimes it seems like forever as we wait for Sunday to roll around so we can watch our Detroit Lions play football. Well, the wait will not be as long this week as the Lions are set to host the Chicago Bears on Saturday at 4:30 ET in what is certainly a must-win game for the Motor City Kitties.

But some of you may not be able to chill on your couch and watch the game like you may have assumed.

You see, when these two teams normally meet, the game is televised on FOX but Saturday’s game between the Lions and Bears will be on the NFL Network (and some local NBC broadcasts). That means for some of you that have ‘cut your cable’ like many others, you will be out of luck. (Unless you find an alternative way to watch the game)

Following the Lions vs. Bears, at 8:25 ET, the NFL Network will air the matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

As far as the rest of the Week 15 NFL schedule goes, here is what the television schedule looks like. As you can see, the Oakland Raiders will host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football on NBC and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football on ESPN.

Chances are that if you live in Michigan, you get the matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals at 1 ET on Sunday on CBS.

As far as the late game goes on CBS, those in Michigan will get the opportunity to watch the New England Patriots square off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a huge AFC battle.

Also, at 1 ET, viewers in Michigan will have the option of tuning in to watch the Green Bay Packers take on the Carolina Panthers on FOX.
