She may have deleted the tweet, but as they say, the internet is forever.
Kristen Saban Setas, the daughter of legendary Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban, shared some frank thoughts on the COVID-19 situation currently faced by the Ohio State Buckeyes, which some feared could potentially threaten the national title game.
This doesn't appear to be the case, as Buckeyes athletic director Gene Smith reiterated that the team still plans on playing as scheduled.
Regardless, Saban Setas took to social media to level an accusation against the Buckeyes, suggesting they were trying to buy more time for QB Justin Fields to heal from an injury he suffered during week’s semifinal game against the Clemson Tigers.
She since deleted the tweet, though it garnered plenty of response from Twitter users. She also appears to have completely deleted her account.
The national title game is scheduled for January 11.
