Northern Michigan’s Pullar Stadium in running for Hockeyville, USA title

In the town of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan sits Pullar Stadium, an arena that is in the final four for the Kraft Hockeyville, USA title. Now, Pullar Arena needs your help to claim that title!

The arena was built in 1939 and has hosted many legendary players such as Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay, as it was at one time the home of the Detroit Red Wings training camp.

Players from Lake State and the Soo Eagles took part in an open skate on Tuesday evening as excitement over the possible title grows. It would mean a lot to a community that has hockey in their blood, in a state that already has the tile of “Hockeytown”.
