Reports have surfaced that Brian Kelly has decided to leave Notre Dame to sign what is expected to be a huge multi-year deal with LSU.
If Kelly does in fact leave the Irish, who will replace him?
According to Pete Sampson of The Athletic, “sources indicate there will be some momentum among decision-makers at the University to elevate Marcus Freeman.”
Freeman is currently the defensive coordinator at Notre Dame.
