Oakland A’s Ramon Laureano has harsh words for Astros coach Alex Cintron after brawl

The A's outfielder had some harsh words for Astros coach Alex Cintron.

The Houston Astros are already facing some justice being taken into the hands of the players themselves following their well-documented sign stealing scandal.

On Sunday, they got into it with the Oakland Athletics after outfielder Ramon Laureano was hit by a pitch. He immediately got into it with the Astros bench after getting to first base, most notably with Astros coach Alex Cintron; both benches soon cleared.

Afterwards, Laureano had some harsh words for Cintron, saying that he regretted his actions – but not for the reason you might think. Check out what he had to say:

“I regret charging him because he’s a loser,” he said.

Laureano, a former Astros prospect, was hit three times during the series. The third time was the charm – and he’d had enough. Apparently, Cintron said something about Laureano’s mother, prompting the fireworks:

BONUS CONTENT: Detroit’s C.J. Cron helped off the field after taking ball to the knee

The Detroit Tigers appear to have lost a big piece of their lineup tonight against the Chicago White Sox.

C.J. Cron has left the game after taking line drive to his left leg (shin area). He was being helped off the field by his teammates, and then was able to walk under his own power. However, once he got to the dugout, he wasn’t able to put any pressure on his leg.

Dawel Lugo is now pinch hitting for Cron.

He’ll be undergoing further evaluation:
