It’s no secret that the reign of Matt Patricia as head coach of the Detroit Lions hasn’t exactly gone according to plan.
The team is 3-8-1 with no shot at the playoffs this season – and that follows last year’s 6-10 finish. Plenty of fans are fed up with the current configuration of the coaching staff, and want changes.
While there’s been no indication from the team about making such a change, betting odds have been released regarding the chances of recently-fired head coach Ron Rivera taking the reigns next season.

The Lions landed at sixth on the list at a +1000 to get Rivera, who was recently fired by the Carolina Panthers after nine years on the job. Carolina clinched a postseason berth four total times during Rivera’s nine years as head coach, including a loss in Super Bowl 50.
