Moments after the schedule release, we reported that the Lions were opening up their 2022 season at Ford Field as a 4-point underdog against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Well, we now know the point spread for all 17 Lions games in 2022.
As you can see below, the Lions, according to Draft Kings, are currently favored in just four of their 17 games (Week 2 vs. Commanders, Week 4 vs. Seahawks, Week 13 vs. Jaguars, and Week 17 vs. Bears)
But despite being favored in just four games, it is interesting to note that the Lions are only an underdog of more than five points on three occasions (Week 7 at Dallas, Week 12 vs. Buffalo, and Week 18 at Green Bay)

Folks, it is important to note that these are just the opening point spreads (according to Draft Kings) and they will move up and down as each game approaches.
That being said, by looking at these point spreads, it is very clear that the oddsmakers believe the Detroit Lions are going to be a very competitive team during the 2022 NFL regular season.
The question is, how many games will the Lions win, and will it be enough to get into the playoffs?
