Renowned enforcer Joey Kocur is best known for his time as half of the “Bruise Brothers” from the Detroit Red Wings. (The second half of course being the late legendary enforcer Bob Probert). After his big fighting days early in his career with the Red Wings, he did a stint with the New York Rangers from 1990 – 1996, where he continued his tough, gritty ways.

Kocur has such a strong right arm to him, he knocked Donald Brashear’s helmet clean off and nearly broke the thing! No one wanted to put themselves in the way of that freight train.

Holtby wasn’t exactly a willing combatant, and was rewarded for his pacifism with quite the beatdown.
