On Deck: at Astros

Riding high after their sweep of the Texas Rangers, the Detroit Tigers head south to Houston to continue their tear through the Lonestar State. Heading into the Friday night opener, the Tigers (43-32) are on a 7 game winning streak and have a 4 1/2 game lead in the AL Central division. While the Astros (34-46) have played much better baseball of late, they are still in the cellar of the AL West.
