On Saturday at 11:00 a.m. ET, Western Kentucky will take on Appalachian State in the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl.
If you are a fan of the Detroit Lions, there is one player you should be paying close attention to he is Western Kentucky QB, Bailey Zappe.

Though Zappe does not have the size of a prototypical NFL QB (6-0, 215) he has proven that he can sling the ball around with the best of them as he completed 69.2% of his passes for a whopping 5,545 yards and 56 touchdowns in 13 games!
If Zappe can show out at the 2022 NFL Combine, he could improve his draft stock a bit.
If the Lions do not select a quarterback in the first or second round, I can see them taking a flyer on Zappe in Round 4 or 5.
